Built in 1931, Hale Ohia is comprised of a main residence, guest cottages, gardener's cottage and numerous support structures. Nestled in a botanical garden setting the complex affords guests a unique view of Hawaii's past.
Once the gardener's cottage and second oldest on the property, the two-story Hale Ohia offers privacy and plenty of room for families. There are three bedrooms sleeping four comfortably. A large living room provides a sitting area, game table and reading area. The fully furnished kitchen on the first level can easily accomodate families and a large covered lanai adjacent to the kitchen allows outdoor barbecuing. The bath has a tub/shower combination and covered parking is only a few steps from your door. There is heat for cool evenings. One queen bed, 2 extra-long twins and one regular twin.

This 77-year-old water structure has been recycled into a cozy bedroom ( queen bed ) and living area. The addition offers a new tiled bath with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, vintage lighting from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and mahagony wainscoting. The study or living area has a window seat for reading and a see-through fireplace keeps the cottage toasty warm.
Enjoy a glass of wine on your covered lanai, listen to the birds and enjoy the quiet and intense green foliage. This space is most appropriate for couples on a romantic holiday.
These side by side suites are located on the ground level of the Hale Ohia Cottage. Private entrances and private baths with leaded glass windows makes greeting the morning sun especially nice. Each suite has one queen bed and a comfortable sitting and reading area. The Camellia Suite is handicapped accessible with parking at the door.
Enjoy the Master Suite in the main house. This suite has a comfortable bedroom with a queen bed recessed in a brightly lit bay window. The bath has on oversize tub, separate tiled shower and two lavatories. There is also a small frig and coffee maker. Enjoy the view as you relax in peace and tranquility.
